Charitable organizations dedicated to alleviating and preventing poverty in the London-Elgin-Middlesex area are now eligible to submit grant applications via the United Way Elgin Middlesex Community Fund Grant Program.
Kelly Ziegner, President and CEO of United Way Elgin Middlesex says we are in a world where times are tough for a lot of people, that’s why doing the grant is so important.
She explains how their work throughout the year allows United Way to give back to the local community.
Ziegner adds that the grant is essential to many local charities.
Up until Friday, November 3rd at noon, local charitable organizations have the opportunity to submit grant applications for the endorsement of one or two programs, with each program being eligible for funding of up to $200,000.
A maximum grant amount of $400,000 is attainable for a single organization.
