Some exciting news for the future chefs of St. Thomas as the city has added cooking classes to their Winter Programs.
Running January 9th, 2024 through February 27th, this 8 week program taking place at the Memorial Arena is introductory and will teach participants the basic fundamentals of cooking.
It’s open to Little Chef’s age 5 to 8, with a separate Chef’s in Training class being hosted for those 8 to 12 years old.
Little Chef’s will bring kids into the kitchen and teach them not only great tasting recipes, but cooking fundamentals such as how to stay safe in a kitchen, measure ingredients, and reading recipes.
Chef’s in Training will teach children how to make a mix of healthy recipes, baking, and decorating using basic cooking techniques with their peers.
No experience is necessary, only a willingness to have fun!
The program cost is $64 per child and registration is now open.
