St. Thomas police are investigating a bank fraud that has left the victim out thousands of dollars.
The victim got in touch with police on Sunday after they were contacted by an individual claiming to be an employee in the fraud department at the victim’s bank.
As a result of the scam, the victim lost $4,000.
