Three West Elgin residents face drug and weapons charges following a raid last Friday.
The OPP, Elgin-Middlesex Community Street Crime Unit, Oxford-Brant CSCU, West Region Tactics and Rescue Unit and the West Region Emergency Response Team executed the search warrant at a Blacks Road residence in West Elgin.
Police seized quantities of suspected cocaine and Oxycodone along with scales, cellular phones, firearms and ammunition.
Facing charges are:
Matthew BEECROFT, 32, who is charged with:
Possession of Schedule I Substance for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine
Possession of Schedule I Substance – methamphetamine
Unauthorized possession of a firearm
Careless storage of firearm, weapon, prohibited device or ammunition
Mischief – domestic
The accused was held for bail hearing and has since been remanded into custody.
Timothy Beecroft, 64, was charged with:
Two counts of unauthorized possession of a firearm
Careless storage of firearm, weapon, prohibited device or ammunition
And Amy WILSON, 29, was charged with:
Unauthorized possession of a firearm
Careless storage of firearm, weapon, prohibited device or ammunition
