Tim Hortons restaurants across the country last week hosted their inaugural Holiday Smile Cookie campaign.
It raised an incredible $9.8 million nationally and will benefit more than 600 charities and community groups, including Tim Hortons Foundation Camps.
In fact, the Holiday Smile Cookie campaign was so successful that some Tims restaurants ran out of their white-chocolate sugar cookies and switched to the classic Tims chocolate chunk cookies near the end of the week to keep the fundraising going.
Money raised from the 7 locations in the city will support the St. Thomas Elgin Food Bank, those in Aylmer raised funds for the Corner Cupboard Food Bank, and restaurants in Dutton and West Lorne will give back to Million Dollar Smiles.
Tim Hortons restaurant owners are set to present their charity partners with Holiday Smile Cookie cheques over the coming weeks.
