St. Thomas-Elgin Second Stage Housing will be hosting a memorial ceremony at the CASO Station tomorrow in honour of National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women.
It will be a time spent remembering and reflecting on the horrific act that took place all those years ago at Ecole Polytechnique in Montreal, where 14 young women lost their lives in an act of gender-based violence.
The ceremony will take place outside beginning at 9:15 a.m. and will last approximately 30 minutes.
