It’s almost Christmas day, where many people will be tearing into presents to see what Santa left behind.
While it’s an exciting time for many, the OPP wants you to plan ahead for the days following Christmas due to those who may not be as festive.
That was Constable Andrew Gamble who understands that days following Christmas have a lot of people kicking their feet up and relaxing, but taking a few extra minutes when it comes to recycling could go a long way.
Gamble also stresses that for many, the gift purchasing season doesn’t end on the 25th as Boxing day deals are hard to pass up.
If you are getting items shipped to your door, porch pirates are not taking a break between Christmas and New Year.
The OPP will be working all season long so if a package has been stolen, or you suspect a break and enter – don’t hesitate to contact the authorities.
