New Year’s Eve is coming up quick and a lot of things are to be expected.
A kiss at midnight, a celebration with friends or family, and the OPP out in full force to make sure people don’t get behind the wheel while impaired.
That was Constable Andrew Gamble who reminds that while they will have RIDE programs scattered around, there is one way to make sure you don’t have to worry about them.
On top of those options, Gamble knows many people also have a “deal” with their parents – and he wants them to remember that.
Gamble concluded by stressing that impaired driving is preventable and comes down to a simple choice.
If you suspect an impaired driver, you are encouraged to dial 911.
