It’s Chess Night at the St. Thomas Public Library! They’re hosting Rooks for Rookies and Open Chess Night from 6:30 to 8 p.m., giving attendees the chance to play based on experience and skill level.
Tuesday Tales goes tomorrow at the library from 10:30 to 11 a.m. Join the library team for a terrific time of telling tales! And yes–there will be singing too!

LOCAL SPORTS: Support Our Teams!
Thames Valley Regional Athletics resume this week following winter break! This includes Varsity Boys and Girls Hockey, Junior and Senior Girls Volleyball, Junior and Senior Boys Basketball, and Varsity Co-Ed Wrestling action taking place Tuesday at our local high schools. In Professional Women’s Hockey League action, St. Thomas native Lexie Adzija and Ottawa take on Boston tonight at 6. They’ll be looking for their first win after falling 3-2 in overtime against Montreal in their season opener last week.
The St. Thomas Stars sit idle until Friday when they host the Sarnia Legionnaires at the Joe Thornton Community Centre. Puck drop set for 7:30 p.m.
