Salus Mutual has made an extremely generous donation in support of our community.
A $100,000 gift has been given to the Transforming Tomorrow Campaign at the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital.
The Transforming Tomorrow Campaign will bring Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) technology to STEGH, as well as enhance and expand the entire Diagnostic Imaging Department, with improvements to CT, nuclear medicine, x-ray and ultrasound.
Currently there are over 80,000 imaging exams performed on an annual basis in Diagnostic Imaging at our hospital.
On behalf of Salus Mutual, Chair Teresa Ferguson presented the donation to Rob Van Doninck, Manager of Diagnostic Imaging, Bobbi-Jo Gardiner, Foundation Director of Development, Mary Lou Crowley, Foundation Executive Director and Campaign Chair, Jeff Yurek.
