The Ontario government is putting down a lot of money to help out post secondary institutions.
That was Colleges and Universities Minister Jill Dunlop talking about the large investment.
A bulk of the money will be put into a new Postsecondary Education Sustainability Fund and the rest will go to capital funding, research projects and other initiatives.
She was also clear that one of the reasons for this funding has to do with decisions made by the federal government.
She also reassured families, noting that tuition fees will remain frozen for at least three more years.
