A 43-year-old Southwold resident has been charged with spousal assault following an intimate partner violence investigation by Elgin OPP.
Wednesday morning, officers were called to a Southwold residence to investigate a complaint.
As a result, the accused was charged and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in St. Thomas at a later date.
Victims of sexual assault/domestic violence are not alone.
