The city’s Community Recycling Centre has expanded their hours just in time for spring cleaning.
It is now open Tues. -Fri. from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., Saturday: 8.a.m. – 3 p.m. Sunday: 10.a.m. – 3 p.m.
Hazardous waste is accepted Wednesday from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. and on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The centre is open to residents of Southwold, Central Elgin, Aylmer and Malahide.
Site Rules
Site attendants reserve the rights to reject any load or object that appears to be a hazard to the safety of its employees. To help ensure the safe and efficient operation of the site, clients are asked to follow the rules.
- All vehicles must report to the scale attendant
- All children under the age of 12 must remain in the vehicle
- All pets must remain in the vehicle
- No smoking on site
- Properly secure your loads
- Obey traffic signs
- Don’t scavenge
The centre is located at 330 South Edgeware Road.
