Over 750 pounds of chocolate will be scattered across the grounds of Pinafore Park on Saturday as the annual St. Thomas Kinsmen Easter Egg Hunt returns.
Gather up the family and arrive at the Dance Pavilion well before 10 a.m., because as Matt Sharpe with the Kinsmen warns, the chocolate won’t last long.
The Easter Bunnies arrive for photos at 9:30 and 10 a.m. sharp the hunt begins.
Such as years past, kids will be split into 3 age groups and spread out throughout the park, 1 to 4, 5 to 8 and 9 to 12.
Sharpe reminds participants to keep an eye out for the plastic mystery eggs that will be hidden around the park.
He adds that they are so thankful for the support of the community and the local sponsors who help them pull off the event every year.
There will be free hot chocolate and hot dogs while supplies last, courtesy Tim Hortons and Bedford Financial Services.
