CMHA's 110 Centre Street location
As part of their strategic plan to optimize resources and enhance service delivery, the Canadian Mental Health Association Thames Valley Addiction and Mental Health Services will be relocating their Walk-In Crisis Services in St. Thomas to a new address.
As of Monday, April 15th, Crisis Services can accessed at their site at 10 Mondamin Street and will no longer be available at the former 110 Centre Street location.
Josh Klaver, Manager of Elgin Withdrawal Management and Crisis Intervention Programs explains further.
Service hours will remain unchanged notes Klaver, with Walk-In Crisis Support available Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. For those curious about accessing supports, Klaver outlines the first steps.
Klaver adds that their priority during this location change is to ensure there is no interruption to services.
For those accessing Crisis Services through the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital, you are also assured that there will be no changes to the support available there.
CMHA TVAMHS understand that change can bring questions, and are here to provide clarity and support every step of the way. For any inquiries or further information, reach out here.
