Get your biodegradable paper yard waste bags ready as spring collection is set to begin across Central Elgin next week.
The municipality notes that pick up in built up areas of Central Elgin will get underway on April 15th and continue each Monday up to and including May 6th.
The municipality asks that all bags be on the curb for collection by 7 a.m. and advise that no bag tag is required. Residents are also reminded that limbs and branches must be bundled in lengths of 1 metre or less.
For residents not in built up areas of Central Elgin, bags can be dropped off at the St. Thomas Community Recycling Centre during regular business hours.
