For the second time in as many weeks, Southwestern Public Health is dealing with a dog-biting incident.
The latest occurred just before 8 a.m. Friday at the intersection of Glenwood and Oakmont streets in Shaw Valley.
The victim was walking on Glenwood Street and was bit when two dogs and their owner passed by.
One dog is described as a medium-sized husky and the other, a black and white dog with blue eyes.
The health unit is seeking information about these dogs in order to assess for risk of exposure to the rabies virus.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the health unit and ask to speak to a Public Health Inspector at 1-800-922-0096.
On March 29, an individual was bitten in the parking lot of the St. Thomas Gun Club in Cowan Park.
