Winter at Horton is set to wrap up this Saturday following another successful season. But before staff say goodbye and get ready for regular market days beginning in May, something sweet has been planned to cap it off!
This Saturday will see Maple Fest! take over the market, the first of many themed mornings that will happen at Horton this season.
Sarah Noble, Manager of Marketing and Communication at the St. Thomas Economic Development Corporation, explains further.
And Noble notes that Maple Fest! seemed like the best place to start!
Stop by between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. to take in all things maple from your favourtie market vendors. Noble says they’ll also have live music, face painting, storytime with the library and so much more planned.
And with it being Maple Fest!, Palmer’s Maple Syrup will be onsite to answer any questions you may have.
Noble adds that Winter at Horton saw great success once again this year and it will absolutely be back for another season.
The regular Horton Market season will kick off May 11th from 8 a.m. to noon- giving market goers just a short three weeks in between visits. Noble also chatted about what we can expect down at Horton for 2024 and you can hear more on that in the coming weeks.
