Coming up Tuesday, April 23rd, our local school boards are hosting a virtual workshop aimed at parents and caregivers seeking insights into eating disorders.
The Thames Valley District School Board and the London District Catholic School Board are teaming up with the Children’s Hospital – London Health Sciences Centre to present the webinar titled “Understanding Eating Disorders: Spotting Warning Signs and Creating Supportive Environments” as part of our Family Well-Being Community Workshop Series.
Eating disorders hold the highest mortality rate among mental illnesses, with concerning increases in dieting behaviors among young individuals.
