A two vehicle collision early Saturday morning at the intersection of Wellington Road and St. George Street has resulted in charges for a 43-year-old London resident.
Elgin OPP were called to the scene at approximately 2:30 a.m., and while speaking to one of the involved drivers, observed signs of intoxication.
A roadside test was then administered, registering a fail.
As a result, Robert Fleming of London has been charged with Careless driving and Operation while impaired – blood concentration (80 plus).
A 90-day Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension and a seven-day Vehicle Impoundment was also initiated.
Police do note that no serious injuries were reported.
