Fanshawe Pioneer Village is gearing up for its 65th season!
Come join them for the Opening Weekend on Saturday and Sunday to meet the villagers and enjoy a day of exploring a century’s worth of history.
myFM spoke with Public Programming Coordinator, Christina van Hardeveld who notes she is excited to see the village springing with life once again.
There will also be special events planned on Monday, May 20th, to celebrate the 205th birthday of Her Majesty Queen Victoria on Victoria Day.
Regular admission rates apply for the entire weekend.
Hours for the season are Thursday-Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (with final admission at 3:15 pm), through to Thanksgiving weekend, and on Summer Extended days will be open Tuesday to Sunday in July and August. Admission is $12 per Adult, $10 for seniors, $7 per Child, and children 3 years and younger are admitted for free.
