A traffic project generated by the St. Thomas Police Service traffic management unit to address cyclist violations stemming from public complaints has been completed.
It resulted in two warnings and six charges.
A second project to deal with stop sign violations also has been completed with four warnings and 35 charges laid.
The Traffic Management Unit continues to focus on road safety initiatives and will now undertake a project to address speed and vehicle equipment throughout the city as well as a project focusing on distracted driving.
