The Municipality of Central Elgin has released the concept plans for the new Kokomo Park coming to Port Stanley are currently seeking feedback from the community.
The 2024 budget does include construction funding for the park, which will be done in partnership with Wastell Developments.
Highlights of the plan include four pickleball courts, playground equipment, pathways, game tables, a green space and park benches.
It will be open for use by the general public and not just Kokomo residents.
After the Municipality reviews community feedback, the plan will be presented to Council for approval on May 27th.
