The St. Thomas Police were among area services over the Victoria Day long weekend putting an increased focus on road safety.
In doing so, a number of R.I.D.E checks were set up throughout the city to help combat impaired driving.
This includes on Saturday evening where approximately 680 vehicles were stopped at various check points across St. Thomas, with no charges or warnings given.
On Sunday, officers stopped and checked the sobriety of 40 vehicles and had to administer 1 Roadside Screening Test.
That individual passed and no other incidents were reported.
