Elgin county is the recipient of a $50,000 provincial grant to support emergency preparedness initiatives.
The Community Emergency Preparedness Grant Program aims to empower Ontario communities by providing funding for the purchase of emergency supplies, equipment, and services.
The grant will enable Elgin county to undertake several vital projects aimed at enhancing public awareness and education regarding Elgin’s community risks.
This could include weather-related disasters, hazardous material spills, health emergencies, and more.
