A Teen Writers’ Meetup is taking place at the St. Thomas Public Library tonight from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Come out for a night of writerly entertainment. Join in the creative process, share some of your work (if you want to), and hang out with other teen writers. Registration is required.
Saturday Stories goes tomorrow at the library from 10:30 to 11 a.m. Join staff each Saturday for storytime, which is full of active songs and stories!

Through June 15th, visitors to the theatre can take in the stylings of one Canada’s finest crooners as “Funny Valentine: A Michael Bublé Tribute” takes the stage. Jay Davis, star of the West End, makes his PSFT debut in the show- bringing to life the music of the finest Canadian crooner of our time. Full details can be found here.

The St. Anne’s Community Festival is back, bringing “4 Days of Family Fun” to the city! It runs Friday from 4 to 11 p.m. and Saturday from noon to 11 p.m. Full details can be found here!

The Port Stanley Artists Guild is hosting their Annual Show & Sale at the Royal Canadian Legion in Port Stanley, Thursday through Saturday. A wide range of mediums, styles, sizes, and prices of original art by many talented artists will be available. More details here.

The Horton Farmers’ Market is open Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon! They’ve been bringing the farm to the heart of the city since 1878 and you can stop by every Saturday through November 2nd to shop the fresh and local foods as well as endless creations from the talented artisans.

The Old Imperial Farmers’ Market is open every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Aylmer! It’s a family-friendly, year-round, indoor Farmers’ Market that celebrates, supports, and showcases the best of what our community has to offer.

LemonAID Day is taking place Saturday across St. Thomas and Elgin County. It’s a partnership with Doug Tarry Homes and the Elgin Children’s Foundation, who will be raising funds to send deserving kids to camp. Over 25 lemonade stands will be set up throughout St. Thomas-Elgin and to support, simply stop by one or all to make a donation. Full details can be found here.

Join the St. Thomas Police Service and members of the Phoenix Canine Initiative this Saturday for a public book reading and signing of the new children’s book “The Tails of Trax”. It’s taking place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the St. Thomas Public Library and you can learn more about the book here!

The Rosy Rhubarb Festival makes its return to the Keystone Complex in Shedden, running June 8th and 9th. Roughly 80 vendors ranging from clothing, food, crafts, services and other goods will also be on site, with live entertainment and interactive shows keeping crowds entertained well into the afternoon. The 21st Annual Aylmer Charity Food Fest returns to the Aylmer Sales Barn on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1p.m. A variety of food booths will be present, including tacos and apple fritters! There will be activities for children and chance to participate in a silent auction.

The STEGH Auxiliary BBQ returns to Canadale Nurseries June 8 & 9 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. Come enjoy some delicious foods and help make a difference in our local community! All proceeds go directly to the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital.

A Trunk Sale and BBQ will be taking place Saturday at New Vision Community Church. Stop by between 8 a.m. and noon to shop and take part in the BBQ! A bake sale table will also be set up.

The Annual Garden Tour hosted by the St. Thomas & District Horticultural Society is returning for Sunday, June 9th from 11am until 5pm. There will be ten gardens in the St. Thomas area and tickets are available at Canadale Nurseries-269 Sunset Drive, St. Thomas. Tickets are $10 and it is a self-guided tour.
