YWCA St. Thomas-Elgin Settlement Services and St. Thomas-Elgin Local Immigration Partnership will be kicking off the summer season next week at a Newcomer Barbeque hosted at Waterworks Park.
Newcomers to Canada are invited to join together for an evening in the park on June 19th- to share a meal, meet new friends, and take part in some family-friendly activities.
The event will run from 4:30 to 7 p.m., with dinner provided by the St. Thomas Kinsmen being served at 5:15.
Those interested in attending will be required to pre-register by Wednesday, June 12th.
