If you are looking to cool down at a splash pad in St. Thomas – you now have more time to do so!
The city announced Tuesday that due to rising temperatures and humidex values making it feel like 40 degrees, they have extended operations by an hour.
Splash pads at Pinafore Park, 1Password Park and Waterworks Park will now be open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.
The unsupervised water play areas offer an active, fun time for kids with accessible, fully-equipped playground experiences right next door.
Features include dumping buckets, spray nozzles, and sprinkle arcs on a random spray sequence.
