While weekends during the summer months are normally reserved for weddings down at The Clearing in Shedden- they’re doing things a little different this year!
They’ll be bringing 3 different concerts to their outdoor venue beginning next week, with a local tribute band kicking off the fun.
That was The Clearing owner Sandy Vachon, who sat down with myFM to chat about these new additions to the summer schedule.
And while it’s something they’ve wanted to do for a while now, she explains why 2024 was the perfect opportunity.
For the past 17 years, the Vachon’s have provided a special place for families both near and far, to tie the knot in an array of outdoor ceremonies.
She explains how they first got into the business after purchasing a hobby farm all those years ago.
And since then, many months out of the year have been dedicated to wedding season.
With the addition of that new tent, shows this summer will be rain or shine!
Vachon notes that those attending will also have their own choice of seating.
Tickets to all 3 shows this summer, including The Barrel Boys Bluegrass Night on July 12th and Mystic Highway – A tribute to CCR/John Fogerty on July 27th are on sale now.
Those wishing to attend The Practically Hip on June 29th, can even take advantage of a bus shuttle being offered.
Adding that no matter who you come to see, it’s going to be an unforgettable night.
There will be a cash bar and food truck on site for each show.
