The driver of a heavily damaged white pickup truck is wanted by St. Thomas Police after he fled the scene of a crash early Saturday morning.
The vehicle struck a hydro pole in the area of Mitchell and Hincks streets, causing extensive damage not only to the truck but also the utility pole.
Following an extensive search of the area with the K-9 unit, police were unable locate the driver.
Mitchell Street was closed while work crews repaired the hydro pole.
