Some unfortunate news from the Senior’s Picnic in the Park Committee as they have decided to postpone Wednesday’s event due to the forecasted inclement weather.
They note that the safety and well-being of participants, volunteers and community partners are their utmost priority, and believe it is in everyone’s best interest to avoid any potential risks that could come as a result of the severe weather predicted for the area.
The committee is currently working on securing an alternative date for the picnic and updates will be provided.

Dear Seniors, Vendors, Volunteers and Community Partners,
We regret to inform you that the upcoming Senior’s Picnic in the Park, originally scheduled for Wednesday July 10th, has been postponed due to inclement weather forecasts. The safety and well-being of our participants, volunteers and community partners are our utmost priority. With the predicted severe weather conditions, we believe it is in everyone’s best interest to avoid any potential risks.
We understand how much everyone was looking forward to this event, and we share in your disappointment. However, please rest assured that this decision was made after careful consideration. We are currently working on securing an alternative date for the picnic and will provide you with updated information as soon as possible.
