It’s not often you see the chance of torrential downpours in your weather forecast….but that’s what we could see today.
Rainfall rates of 20 to 40 mm per hour at times are possible, and maybe even more as the remnants of post-tropical storm Beryl crosses our region.
Environment Canada Meteorologist Trudy Kidd tells myFM, when we can expect the most rain.
Adding that portions of the region may even set some rainfall records.
With rainfall rates being the biggest concern, Kidd warns that localized flooding could be possible.
Stay tuned to myFM for updates on the storm and any severe weather we may experience.
