A 28-year-old Aylmer man has been charged following the theft of a firearm from a shed last week.
On Tuesday, July 16th Aylmer Police were called to investigate a break and enter into the shed on Oak Street, where a Savage Mark II rifle was stolen along with approximately 30 rounds of ammunition.
Police note that the firearm and ammunition were later recovered, resulting in charges for the Aylmer resident.
This includes Careless storage of Firearm, Weapon, Prohibited device or ammunition.
