An update to our story Monday regarding an assault on Owaissa Street.
Police advise the victim was assaulted by their partner and suffered arm and face lacerations.
The assailant armed with a knife made his way onto the roof of a neighbouring house and shortly after 10 a.m., peacefully surrendered.
A 29-year-old St. Thomas man has been charged with assault, aggravated assault and break and enter to commit an offence.
