In case you missed the announcement late last week, the city has once again extended hours at all three splash pads across St. Thomas.
Due to the hot and humid weather we’ve been experiencing this summer, operations will begin an hour earlier each day.
Splash pads at Pinafore Park, 1Password Park and Waterworks Park will now be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.
The unsupervised water play areas offer an active, fun time for kids with accessible, fully-equipped playground experiences right next door.
Features include dumping buckets, spray nozzles, and sprinkle arcs on a random spray sequence.
