A 21-year-old St. Thomas resident faces charges of Impaired Driving and Mischief following an early morning incident on the city’s north side.
Police were called just before 2 a.m. on Thursday to investigate a disturbance where a house window was broken during an argument between a couple.
The suspect had already left the scene, but officers located and stopped the individual’s vehicle nearby.
Suspecting impairment, police administered a roadside screening, which the driver failed.
The 21-year-old was arrested, where further testing was undertaken.
They were released with a future court date.
