The latest housing numbers are in from the London and St. Thomas Association of Realtors who experienced strong activity in July.
LSTAR notes that 604 homes exchanged hands across the region, while the number of new listings last month sat at 1,531.
Kathy Amess, the LSTAR Board Chair, commented on the market’s performance noting “The real estate market in London continues to show resilience and adaptability. The increase in new listings is a positive sign, indicating that sellers are confident in the market’s strength. We are seeing a healthy balance between supply and demand, which is crucial for maintaining stability.”
Last month’s overall average home price sat at $654,593, compared to $671,309 in June.
In St. Thomas, the average sale price for a home in July 2024 was $575,525 compared to $565,596 in June.
