While most of us have heard a tale pertaining to Bigfoot at some point in our lives, only a select few have had the opportunity to see the story be told in such an unique way.
The World Premiere of Bigfoot! by Ephraim Ellis took the stage at Port Stanley Festival Theatre just last week, where myFM had the opportunity to speak with Guest Director, Murray Furrow.
He recounts the first time he heard the play be read aloud.
Furrow breaks down what audiences can expect from this latest production.
It follows three intrepid explorers; Abby, Jake, and Leaf as they scour the interior rainforests of British Columbia searching for signs, for redemption and for proof. And Furrow says they couldn’t have found better actors for these roles.
When there is so much going on in a show, it can sometimes be hard to depict on stage. Furrow explains that the amazing set design helped to make it possible.
Furrow adds why this show shouldn’t be missed!
Matinee and evening times are available through August 24th, before the final show of the summer- “The Perils Of Persephone” takes over.
