The province’s police watchdog has concluded it’s investigation into an injury suffered by woman after she was arrested in Port Stanley.
On May 5, Elgin OPP received a call from a taxi driver about an inebriated and belligerent passenger.
When she refused to leave the vehicle, an officer reached in and pulled her out and onto the ground.
She suffered a fractured shoulder in the process.
Special Investigations Unit Director Joseph Martino determined there were no reasonable grounds to believe the officer committed a criminal offence in connection with her arrest and injury.
