On Wednesday, they will be conducting a fire safety blitz in the Barwick Street neighbourhood.
Chief Fire Prevention Officer Kim Destun advises fire crews will be going door to door to talk with residents about the importance of smoke alarms, answering fire safety questions and getting to know the neighbourhood.
