Acoustic Vibes goes tonight (Friday) at the St. Thomas Public Library from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Grab your instruments and join the laid-back jam session! All skill levels are welcome and encouraged. Just a heads up – this isn’t a music lesson, it’s a chance to play and enjoy an evening of musical fun and good vibes.
Saturday Stories goes tomorrow at the library from 10:30 to 11 a.m. Join staff each Saturday for storytime, which is full of active songs and stories!

The Simon Joynes Playwrights’ Festival is taking place September 19th-21st at Port Stanley Festival Theatre. Three plays will be presented in public readings, followed by a question/answer session with the playwrights. Reserve your free seat now! Full details can be found here.

A Halloween Costume Pop-Up Event is taking place on Friday at the St. Thomas Seniors Centre. It’s running from 4 to 7 p.m. and $3 from every Halloween costume purchased will go to Barks and Meows Rescue. More details here!

Railway City Brewing Co. will once again have live music on Friday! Nick Ewanick is set to play from 5 to 8 p.m.

The Horton Farmers’ Market is open Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon! You can stop by every Saturday through November 2nd to shop the fresh and local foods as well as endless creations from the talented artisans.

LOCAL SPORTS:
The St. Thomas Stars return to the ice tonight (Friday) for their Home Opener against the Strathroy Rockets. Puck drop is set for 7:30 p.m. at the Joe. It’s also myFM Fill the Rink Night– so stop by the station at 300 Talbot Street between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. for free tickets- while supplies last.
