“Buying The Moose”, a hilarious play full of misunderstandings, mischief, and moose-sized fun, at the historic Princess Avenue Playhouse- runs Thursday, September 19th through the 29th. Full details and tickets can be found on the Elgin Theatre Guild website.

It’s Open Chess Night at the St. Thomas Public Library from 6:30 to 8! Open Chess Night is a drop-in evening of chess, open to players of all ages and skill levels.
Teen Book Chat is also taking place tonight from 7 to 8 p.m. Gather at the library for book discussions and snacks! Connect with fellow readers, share your thoughts, and enjoy some treats. It’s a fun way to discover new books, talk about your favourites, and make friends.
Tuesday Tales goes tomorrow at the library from 10:30 to 11 a.m. Join the library team for a terrific time of telling tales! And yes–there will be singing too!
Rooks for Rookies takes place Tuesday from 6:30 to 8 p.m. It’s a chance for 8 – 12-year-olds to hang out and learn about the game of chess! Registration is required.

The St. Thomas Stars return to the ice Friday, where they’ll host the LaSalle Vipers. Puck drop is set for 7:30 p.m. at the Joe!
