“Buying The Moose”, a hilarious play full of misunderstandings, mischief, and moose-sized fun, at the historic Princess Avenue Playhouse- runs Thursday, September 19th through the 29th. Full details and tickets can be found on the Elgin Theatre Guild website.

The St. Thomas Public Library’s Crafters Circle will be taking place from 9 a.m. to noon today. It’s the perfect opportunity to meet new people, work on your crafts and share each other’s company! They host the Crafter Circle every Wednesday.
Seniors’ Walk & Talk hosted by the library goes from 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday. Take a leisurely walk on the path at the St. Thomas Elevated Park and chat along the way. If its rainy or icy, walkers will meet at the Joe Thornton Community Centre at 75 CASO Crossing.
The library will be hosting a special presentation from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday called Jayne Dill: Living Well, Dying Prepared. Join Jayne Dill, founder of London Death Doula, for an interactive workshop on preparing for the end of life. Topics will include advance care planning, the process of dying, discussing end-of-life matters with your family, and identifying what matters most to you.
Tech Talk returns to the library tomorrow and is offered every Thursday from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Join the library team in the Board Room where you can get your questions answered and learn something new. All levels of tech experience welcome!

EVENT CANCELED -The team at Yurek Pharmacy is celebrating their 61st anniversary on Wednesday by hosting a Charity BBQ from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. All funds raised will support Project Tiny Hope. You can learn more here.

The annual Bridges to Better Business event is back on Thursday, and it’s going to be a fantastic evening of local food, fun, and festivities, spotlighting the amazing small businesses of Elgin County and St. Thomas.
