The St. Thomas Panthers Girls Hockey Association will be hosting their inaugural Panther Day on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Joe Thornton Community Centre.
It’s in celebration of IIHFs World Girls Ice Hockey Weekend, where residents are encouraged to come out and witness all the fun and camaraderie that girl’s hockey can offer, while showing support to these young females across our communities.
Over 450 players from 28 different teams will take the ice, as 14 games are played in just 1 day.
A full day of off ice activities have also been planned, including bracelet making, face painting and more.
A female hygiene product drive will also be running throughout Panther Day, should you wish to support.
Full details can be found on the St. Thomas Panthers Girls Hockey Association Facebook Page, with all game times posted below…
