“The Elephant Man,” based upon the life of Joseph Merrick, a man so physically deformed that he became known as the Elephant Man – runs Thursday, October 3rd through the 13th at the historic Princess Avenue Playhouse. Full details and tickets can be found on the Elgin Theatre Guild website.

A Giggle Boys Comedy Show goes Saturday at Railway City Brewing beginning at 8 p.m. featuring comics from Just for Laughs, CBC and Letterkenny. Tickets are $20 each.

The St. Thomas Panthers Girls Hockey Association will be hosting their inaugural “Panther Day” celebration on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Joe Thornton Arena.
