The tenth-placed Stars are going on the road looking for their third win of the campaign in Elmire against the eighth-placed Sugar Kings.
It’s the second game in this home-and-home series, with Elmira winning 4-3 in OT Friday night at the Joe Thornton Community Centre.
Joey Martin gave the Sugar Kings an early 1-0 lead just eight seconds after the opening whistle. Elmira skated into the first intermission with a 3-1 lead.
Luke Della Croce got the winning goal 1:53 into overtime.
St. Thomas Stars:
The Stars are hoping to salvage a win and deny the Sugar Kings a sweep of the weekend series.

The Stars have netted 26 goals in 9 games and have surrendered 48.
They are 6/46 (13.04 %) on their power play and 14/49 (71.4 %) on their penalty killing.

The Sugar Kings oddly enough have a better record so far this season when they play on the road and not at home at Dan Snyder Memorial Arena.

The Sugar Kings are 9/50 (18 %) on their power plays, and are 14/70 (80 %) on their penalty killing.
