The YWCA St. Thomas-Elgin and Tech Connect will be offering free “Computer Basics” classes this November for seniors looking to enhance their digital skills.
Running on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 1:00 to 3:30 p.m., the sessions will cover key topics like sending emails, recognizing spam, staying safe online, and using social media.
The classes, held at the St. Thomas Seniors Centre, begin on November 6th and continue through November 14th.
Participants can bring their own laptops or use one that is provided. No prior experience is necessary, but advanced registration is required.
A special one-on-one support session will also be available on November 14th, offering 30-minute appointments for personalized tech help.
To register, contact Nicole from the YWCA at (519) 631-9800 extension 228 or email nmcneil@ywcaste.ca.
