It’s a scary first for Community Living Elgin.
They’ve turned the front and back yards at their group home at 62 West Avenue in St. Thomas into haunted habitats in honour of Halloween.
Michelle Crocker, a direct support professional explains all six residents of the home contributed creatively to the creepy landscapes.
And while you’re there, you can help out a family at Christmas time by donating a toy or non-perishable food item, Crocker.
She explains it’s all part of integrating the individuals into the community as much as possible and presenting them with opportunities.
The display is running every day from 4 to 10 p.m. until Oct. 31.
You can also drop off donations of non-perishable food items and toys for this year’s Christmas Care campaign.
