St. Thomas Police continue to investigate following an assault that took place in the city this week.
Police say the victim was walking to work around 5 a.m., when they were assaulted with a pipe and then threatened with a knife.
This resulted in serious injuries to the victim.
This incident is still under investigation as police canvas for video surveillance.
