Tonight (Nov 15) will be your first opportunity to take in the beauty of the Elgin County Railway Museum’s Community Christmas Tree Spectacular.
Experience the wonder of over 300 decorated Christmas trees every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday through December 23rd, each one unique and full of holiday cheer.
Highlights include a cozy hot chocolate hut, the festive Friday Night Markets, photos with Santa (Saturdays only), a LEGO winter village display, a letters to Santa drop-off and plenty of other activities for the kids.
A Community Tree has also be set up where donations of nonperishable food and toys will be collected to support local families in need.
Admission is free, with donations welcome and appreciated.
Friday hours are from 5 to 9 p.m.., Saturdays 2 to 10 p.m., and Sundays noon to 5 p.m.
A special finale will also take place on Monday, December 23rd from 2 to 9 p.m.
